For the 2020-2021 season, pending any COVID-19 related cancellations, Steven will be making his debut with Central City Opera in their production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel and will headline an Art Salon concert with pianist Adam Nielsen for the GENVAS, Venetian Arts Society of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Other performances will be announced as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
During the 2019-2020 season, Steven was scheduled to make his role debut as Mr. Maguire in Tobias Picker's Emmeline with Tulsa Opera and company and role debuts as Heger/Jäger in Dvořák's Rusalka at the Tiroler Festspiele Earl. Additionally, he was to make his debut at the Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage of Carnegie Hall with The Cecilia Chorus of N.Y. singing the baritone solos in Orff's Carmina Burana and Walton's Belshazzar's Feast. Steven was also scheduled to return to Jazz at Lincoln Center to sing Escamillo in Bizet's Carmen with MasterVoices and will sing the baritone solos in the oratorio Elijah by Mendelssohn with the St. George's Choral Society of NYC. Regretfully, cancellations due to COVID-19 only permitted his engagement in Rusalka with the Tiroler Festpiele which took place in December 2019 and the NYC Elijah in November 2019.
For the 2018-2019 season, engagements included his role debut as Belcore in Donizetti's L'Elisir d'Amore with Opera Omaha, his company debut with Tulsa Opera in the title role of Donizetti's Il barbiere di siviglia, and his role and company debuts with San Diego Opera as Charlie in Heggie's Three Decembers and Teatro Nuovo as Valdeburgo in Bellini's La Straniera. Additionally, Steven made his debuts with the St. Hugh-Steinway Concert Series in Miami, FL, the Venetian Arts Society in Ft. Steven LaBrie is featured on the CD Remember on the Roven Records label, singing American songs by Benjamin C.S. Boyle and Lori Laitman. He is accompanied by pianist Adam Nielsen.

Opera News in reviewing the CD stated "The standout is Benjamin Boyle's Le passage des revês, a skillfull arrangement of four poems by Paul Valéry. Sung by LaBrie with an appealingly grainy tone and supple, eloquent delivery, the songs  trace the poet's shifting emotions during one romantic night."
