RECORDING FEATURING STEVEN LABRIE
Steven LaBrie is featured on the CD Remember on the Roven Records label, singing American songs by Benjamin C.S. Boyle and Lori Laitman. He is accompanied by pianist Adam Nielsen.
To celebrate the release of the CD, Steven performed in a concert at Carnegie Hall on May 22, 2018 featuring him as well as fellow baritones Tobias Greenhalgh and Jarrett Ott.
Opera News in reviewing the CD stated "The standout is Benjamin Boyle's Le passage des revês, a skillfull arrangement of four poems by Paul Valéry. Sung by LaBrie with an appealingly grainy tone and supple, eloquent delivery, the songs trace the poet's shifting emotions during one romantic night."
